As an association of leading business and community change makers, we take every chance we get to reduce our impact and help regenerate our region.

We strongly believe our business community has a big role to play as we transition to being a carbon neutral nation. We are working on a number of strategic initiatives — such as joining 200 other businesses in supporting WWFs campaign for Australia to become a renewable superpower.

And we’re also taking a hands on approach, getting our hands dirty at the upcoming corporate tree planting days with our local landcare network. As we are planting a tree for each member in an effort to contribute to our carbon neutral goals, we invite you to join us for a few hours outdoors. There’s nothing more satisfying than planting trees with like minded women and great conversations along the way.

Participants are asked to wear weather appropriate protective clothing and sturdy footwear. Plants and tools supplied. BYO water bottle, snacks, lunch and gardening gloves.

All corporates participating in the day will be acknowledged in MP Landcare newsletter.
