I've spent my career working inside the Victorian education system — as an educator, careers counsellor, school and educational leader. I have expert knowledge in VCE, including the Vocational Major, VPC, VET and careers education, and a strong understanding of Victorian Department policy and curriculum development.
I started The Nexus Group because I believe schools deserve support that's grounded in real experience and young people deserve a system where they can have access to the pathway they choose. If I can help better the system, then hopefully that leads to improved student outcomes in schools.
I am proud to have built a career whilst juggling 4 young children (including twins!). I have a passion for community, which is why I volunteer my time on kinder, school and sports committees, as organisations such as these don't run without community participation.
I am always looking to further my skills and currently undertaking my next challenge of becoming a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
When I am not working, studying or running kids to sports, my favourite hobby is sampling the wonderful food and wine we have on our doorstep and, when lucky enough, exploring cuisines in other countries.
I joined MP WiB because I believe in the power of networks and collaboration, especially when those networks involve powerhouse women.
