I double majored in marine biology and zoology, before completing my honours degree in conservation genetics. I then went on to become a Scientist at Department of Primary Industries in Genetics & Genomics, then on to GlaxoSmithKline in the pharmaceutical sector. I was then a teaching coordinator at Monash University (where I did my undergrad). After taking maternity leave I became a wedding stylist and coordinator. After our second child, the opportunity came up for my husband and I to take over The Ranch (Previously Ace-Hi Ranch) and we were excited by the potential it had!
We love board sports - wakeboarding, snowboarding, skateboarding and the first thing we introduced at The Ranch was mountainboarding. We will continue to grow the gamete of activities out here and we hope to improve youth engagement on the peninsula and offer an experience where the whole family can increase physical activity and subsequently mental well-being 🙂
