SOME IMPORTANT EVENT INFO
We’ve got a fantastic lineup for our event day with lots of opportunities to mingle with everyone so we will be starting promptly at 12 pm
Please allow time for parking and arrival.
You may want to park on Arthurs Seat Road, just be careful with the traffic on the road as you walk.
This is a mainly standing event, so flats or block heels are best.
And it can be chilly at this time of year, so bring something warm to wear.
This year will be bigger and better and even more of all of the wonderful things of our previous event.
Spend IWD with like-minded, passionate and extraordinary Mornington Peninsula women and men, speaking, sharing and creating change.
This International Women’s Day, 8 March, 2023 – we are gathering again at Butterfly Red Hill for an event of food, drink and inspiration. Enjoy music by local musicians, nibbles and more, sips by local wineries, breweries and cocktail makers! Treats, friends, wisdom and inspiration.
IWD asks us this year to embrace equity.
As a society, we have the opportunity to challenge gender stereotypes, announce discrimination, call out bias, and strive to be more inclusive.
We can all embrace equity by embracing collective activism. It is this collective activism that drives change and leads to a broader movement. We believe that it is important not only for women to fight the good fight alone, but also for allies to support and keep women on their path of progress on a number of levels, such as social, economic, cultural, and political. This is our most critical work. Join us. Businesses can support our event by donating to our silent auction, remembering we are raising important funds for local charities.
Proceeds will go to a number of fantastic local charities that empower and support women most in need. These include Women’s Spirit Project & Clothes 4U (Rosebud). Both of these organisations fill a need for women in our local community. Learn more about the beautiful work that they’re doing but clicking through the links above.
Take a couple hours out of your day to CHANGE THE WORLD.
