As Founding Director of award-winning accounting and financial advisory firm, SMART Business Solutions, Shannon is committed to ensuring a high quality advisory service for businesses and individuals across the Mornington Peninsula and beyond.
Shannon has built a strong professional network across both the Mornington Peninsula and Melbourne business community reflective of the success she has delivered for her clients and the community across 20 plus years of strategic tax, business and financial advice and strategy.
She has extensive global business connections after spending several years working in a senior role for a Big 4 firm in Prague and New York. She’s also the director of an international tax firm, Transfer Pricing Solutions, of which has specialised teams across Australia, Singapore and Malaysia.
Shannon has always approached her interaction with her staff and her clients with a highly detailed and goals-oriented practice.
As a long-time local having grown up on the Mornington Peninsula, Shannon has a deep understanding of local issues, particularly around Council, community, and social objectives. In her role as President for the Committee for Mornington Peninsula, alongside key roles in various business organisations, including founding director of B.I.T.E Business Conference, the first city-style conference established on the Mornington Peninsula, Shannon is a true advocate for a strong local community.
Shannon is also a regular guest speaker at local business forums and runs online and LIVE workshops targeted to small to medium business owners.
What does she enjoy most about her role? It’s engaging with her clients. Working collaboratively to make their business and personal goals come to fruition.
